The key message here is shared understanding of what Remnant’s net-zero transition strategic plan and execution is and what it contains must be credible.
Remnant’s Innovative Climate Solutions Advocacy for Net Zero Transition
Climate change is a collective action problem. Which means companies, investors, regulators and civil society need to come together to address it.
To achieve net-zero by 2050 we recommend innovative technologies for climate solutions. We work with strategic partners that focus on reducing carbon. Investing in climate innovation requires to mobilize new public and private capital. Not only we need more Climate Finance for climate innovation but the investment horizon is also typically longer than the traditional investment cycle. Sustainable Investing: ESG based, Impact and Blended Finance Structure strategies should be mobilized significantly. We engage with governments, regulators, IGOs and academic institutions to invest exceedingly more in climate innovation research.
The adaptation to low carbon renewables plays an integral part in advancing the pathway towards net-zero. There is a paradigm shift where stakeholders have begun to take accountability to make this change. Fostering collaborative and tangible actions in-line with the Private-Public-Partnerships [PPP] business model will yield innovative technological solutions to underpin this transition. Governments and regulators still need to institute meaningful, standardized policies & methodologies for all actors to be part of the solution by adopting to low-carbon renewables. Finally, Remnant ensures establishing a transparent unified reporting and matrix to quantify the results to openly share.
